• racial harmony

  Tada. The much anticipated harry p book is finally gonna be released tmr. Im super excited now. Theres this rumour that 6 pple will die. Tts so sad. Apparantly e book was leaked on several bit torrent web sites. O well. Spoilers are aplenty online.

  Celebrated Racial Harmony in school today. It was nth much except that we could satisfy our hunger for free. There was pop piah, ang ku kueh, chee cheong fun, muah chee etc. The popiah was by far the best dish though the wrapping was amatuerish. The indian snack, shaped like a doughnut, was a tad too oily and salty-which probably explained why i had an unquenchable thirst after recess.

  Racial harmony is extremely fragile and we must work hard to preserve it at all cost. Singapore is a society of 4 races, therefore only if we all work together can we strive for success. For example, the 1964 race riots was sparked when someone, presumably chinese threw a bottle int0 a crowd of malays, who were celerbrating a religious occasion. This led to chaos on the streets as people attacked the diff races. Only an united and stabalised country can achieve economic success and attract investors. Without harmony, investors will be scared off, our economy will suffer, causing the pple to lead lower quality lives. :)
